Our "Local-First" Commitment

SavQuick is built on the principle of data sovereignty. Your SPSS (.sav) data records never leave your computer. All parsing and analysis happen locally in your browser. We do not upload or store raw respondent data.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

SavQuick does not collect, transmit, or store the individual respondent records (raw data) contained within the files you open. When you "Open a File," the data is loaded into your browser's local memory (RAM) and processed using client-side JavaScript.

2. Data We Collect

To provide our cloud-synced features, we collect the following:

  • Account Information: Email addresses and authentication credentials managed via Supabase.
  • Project Metadata: If you use the "Save Project" feature, we store variable names, labels, and analysis settings (e.g., filters applied). We do not store the values associated with those variables.
  • Billing Information: Payments are handled by Stripe. SavQuick does not store your credit card details.

3. Analytics & Cookies

We use PostHog and Google Tag Manager to understand how users interact with the tool (e.g., "User clicked Export"). This data is anonymized and used to improve the application. We do not track the content of your research or the results of your analyses.

4. Third-Party Processors

We use a limited number of trusted partners to provide the service:

  • Supabase: Database and Authentication.
  • Stripe: Payment processing.
  • PostHog: Product analytics.

5. Your Rights (GDPR/UK GDPR)

As a user, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your account data. You can delete your account and all associated metadata at any time through the Account Management panel in the application.

6. Open Source Software & Credits

SavQuick is made possible by the following open-source libraries. In accordance with their respective licenses (primarily MIT), we include their attribution here:
